Credit Union Day

Mainstreet brought International Credit Union Day to our communities

On October 19 from 2-5pm Mainstreet closed our branch and admin office doors in order to celebrate International Credit Union Day by taking co-operative values to the streets by giving back and strengthening our local communities.

We felt it would be an amazing opportunity to show what co-operatives do to invest in and strengthen both people and our communities. Employees from all of our regions of Chatham-Kent, Sarnia-Lambton, Middlesex and Goderich worked with their local communities to determine community needs and how we could make an impact locally, whether it be engaging with our seniors, beautifying our local parks or serving a non-profit organization.

I am so proud of the impact we made in our communities and the lives of many. Here is a quick snapshot of how we helped in each area.
