Mitchell’s Home Building Centre is a family-owned business by Cathy and Mike Mitchell that provides a wide selection of building and hardware products for homeowners, farmers, and contractors. Located in Parkhill it has been serving the local community for over 50 years and sees the community as an extension of their family.

“Since COVID began people are spending a lot of time at home and wanting to improve their spaces. Whether it is painting, sprucing up a bathroom, DYI repairs, gardening and more, there has been a lot of demand for projects people can do while staying home. It’s also been a challenge as wood demand has outpaced supply and we’ve seen the price of wood skyrocket to 30-50% more compared to last year” explains Cathy.
