Branch Channel Strategy

For the safety of our members and to ensure a smooth banking experience while these extensive renovations are taking place, the London Road branch will close on November 3, 2023 at 5pm, with services moving to our Business and Investment Advice Centre, located at 412 Exmouth Street beginning on November 6, 2023, until the renovations are completed. To accommodate this transition, all Sarnia Mainstreet locations will be closed on November 4, 2023.

You will still be able to access all of the same services, with the same staff, at the Exmouth location throughout renovations.

There is both a drive through and interior ATM located at 412 Exmouth Street that will provide full-service transactions throughout the renovation period. The interior ATM will be available during business hours. ATM access at 1295 London Road will be limited to the drive through ATM for cash withdrawals only.

During the renovations, safety deposit boxes will still be accessible at our London Road branch. A letter will be sent to all safety deposit box holders In September, outlining the process for accessing them throughout renovations.

All services open at 412 Exmouth Street location.

How will members meet with Commercial & Wealth team during the renovations?

Virtual and phone appointments will continue to be available for members. Our Commercial and Wealth teams will do their best to accommodate members who prefer to meet in-person at Exmouth throughout the London Rd. branch renovations.

With the temporary relocation of cash services from London Road to Exmouth during construction, how will this impact bank transit accounts for members?

Transit numbers will not be impacted during the renovations - Cheques, PADs and PACs will all remain the same. Any new members joining Mainstreet while the London Road branch is based out of the Exmouth location will be assigned to London Road as members.
