Why sign up for Autodeposit?
Convenience
Autodeposit means you don't have to manually accept an lnteracĀ® e-Transfer ā your funds will be in your account once the transfer has been sent by the sender.
Those sending you an e-Transfer will be notified that your email address is setup for Autodeposit.
Going forward, when an e-Transfer is autodeposited to your account, you will receive an email notification.
Added Security
Autodeposit puts your funds at less risk of being intercepted by fraudsters as there is no email sent and no need to set-up or answer a security question.
Easy Set-up
Register your e-mail address and link your account. Once Autodeposit is successfully setup, you can add up to 5 email addresses which can each be linked to a different account, or the same account.
Setting up InteracĀ® e-Transfer Autodeposit
For desktop online banking:
- Select 'Send InteracĀ® e-Transfer' > select `Autodeposit'.
- On the 'Autodeposit Registration' screen, enter your email address for the account you would like the funds to be deposited to.
- Your 'Autodeposit Registration' will be in progress until your email address can be verified. The verification email link will only be valid for 24-hours.
- You must click on the 'Complete Registration' link in your verification email.
For the mobile app:
- Select 'Settings' > 'InteracĀ® e-Transfer' > 'Autodeposit' then select 'Add Email'.
- On the 'Autodeposit Registration' screen, enter your email address you will accept e-Transfers at, and the account you would like the funds to be automatically deposited to.
- Your 'Autodeposit Registration' will be in progress until your email address can be verified. The verification email link will only be valid for 24-hours.
- You must click on the 'Complete Registration' link in your verification email.
