Mainstreet Credit Union Welcomes New President & CEO

Chris Inniss

Mainstreet Credit Union, and its Board of Directors, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Inniss as President and CEO of Mainstreet Credit Union, starting September 7, 2021.

The board began, and conducted, a national search for Mainstreet’s new leader when current President and CEO, Janet Grantham, announced her plans for retirement.

Chris brings to Mainstreet a strong and diversified background in financial services with banks and credit unions alike. Starting in a financial advisory role, then moving to leading retail and commercial teams, he progressed to his most recent role of 4 years as President and CEO of Pathwise Credit Union in Oshawa, ON. Chris holds a BA and MBA from Western University and has completed a variety of credit union focused courses as well. “We look forward to the leadership, vision, innovation, and commitment to members and our communities that Chris will bring to Mainstreet” shared Chair of Mainstreet’s Board of Directors, Tomo Matesic.

“I am excited for the opportunity to work with Mainstreet’s talented team to grow and innovate in what is an ever-changing and evolving financial services environment. We have a tremendous opportunity to continue to be a financial services leader in Southwestern Ontario, as well as transform to a more digital organization while maintaining what sets us apart and differentiates us: caring for our members’ financial well-being and our commitment to communities and local businesses” shared incoming Mainstreet President and CEO, Chris Inniss.

Chris, his wife, daughter, and 3 rescue dogs will be re-locating back to the London-area and he is excited to become involved and give back to the local community.
